How to prepare the perfect matcha  

• Measure 1-2 portions of matcha powder with chashaku and add it to the chawan.  
• Pour about 60-80 ml of hot water (80°C) into the bowl.  
• Whisk with the chasen in quick zigzag movements until the matcha is smooth and has an airy foam top.  
• Place the chasen on the kusenaoshi to protect its shape.  
• Enjoy your freshly brewed matcha and a moment of calm.
